Leigh Ann and Christian Schultz Scholarship

Who qualifies: Any Social Science major, with preference to those who attended public schools in Flint, Saginaw, or Detroit, with additional preference given to any such student who is on active or reserve duty, or is a veteran, of any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces or National Guard.

How much: up to $2,000

How it can be used: Cost of attendance

How to apply:

1. Submit a 1- to 2-page personal essay prepared by the student indicating the applicant’s academic and career goals AND the ways in which the applicant meets the criteria of the scholarship.
2. Submit a student-prepared resume of career achievements to date.
3. Submit no more than two letters of recommendation from the applicant’s faculty supervisor, mentor, academic advisors, unit heads, or other appropriate referees.

NOTE: All the required materials need to be uploaded prior to submitting the application. A missing requirement makes the application incomplete and may be rejected.
